DR. MATTHEW HILLS

Matthew graduated from the School of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Sheffield in 2013. Since qualifying, he has worked extensively in general practice, firstly completing a Vocational Training year in 2014 before working in different practices across South Yorkshire. As well as general practice, Matthew has worked for the NHS 111 Out-of-hours Emergency Dental Services providing urgent dental care for patients in difficulty.
Matthew joined the team at Minto Road Dental Care in 2017, immediately feeling at home amongst like-minded individuals who share his personal values of delivering high quality care with an empathetic touch. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, in particular the use of Invisalign, tooth whitening, composite bonding, and veneers to improve his patient’s smile. He takes great pride in his work and regularly undertakes extra training so that he can keep up to date with the latest advances in Dentistry to offer his patients more comprehensive treatment options.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, keeping fit at the gym, playing football and is an avid supporter of his beloved West Bromwich Albion.
DR. MICHAEL SPENCER

Michael grew up in Birmingham but returned to his birth city and graduated from the School of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Sheffield in 2014. After qualifying he completed his Vocational Training year in 2015 in Chesterfield. From then he has worked in a range of exciting roles across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire from general dental practice to the NHS 111 out-of-hours Emergency Dental Services and the HM Prison Dental Services. Michael joined Minto Road Dental Care in 2018 having made Sheffield his home and warmed to the family feel of the close knit practice. He has a down to earth style and has enjoyed getting to know the patient base that have been coming here for generations. Outside of work Michael is a big fan of the outdoors - a keen cyclist and runner and is often found out in the Peak District. He also plays football locally in Hillsborough on a Saturday morning (whilst his body holds up!) and enjoys winter holidays snowboarding.
